The month of November is always a special month at Cornerstone. This year November will feature two wonderful chances for our students and families to give and demonstrate the love of Christ:

  1. Knitting Hands for those in Need – Cornerstone Christian School has a wonderful opportunity to provide winter hats for the homeless in Brighton, England. Several of our students and teachers love to knit. Using the money collected through No Uniform days at Cornerstone, we will be purchasing the materials that will allow our students to make these hats. The hats will be distributed by Off the Fence, a charity that helps the homeless of Brighton, England. They will use these hats in their Project Antifreeze.
  2. Give Thanks with a Thanksgiving Meal – During the month of November, our school will collect canned goods to prepare a meal for needy families in Greenfield. We will also be collecting money to provide the turkey and other perishable food that we will purchase on the week of Thanksgiving. On Nov. 20th, we will give these meals to the local Salvation Army. The Salvation Army will distribute them to local families in need. Each class will be responsible for preparing one meal. We ask that each Cornerstone family donate $3.00 toward the purchase of turkeys.
